| Hi, my name is Ann Marie O'Leary. I have always enjoyed art and took an art correspondence course in the late 60's from which I learned all about art materials and how to work with them. From there I took painting lessons from a local artist. Every time I sat down to a blank canvas I only wanted to paint pets. I did that until 1982 when I ran out of pets to paint! So I thought, "I think I will advertise in the local newspaper and see if people will bring me pictures of their pets to paint!" I did it for the pure love of painting and animals, so that's how I got from there to here. I now also like to do scenery, homes and people. |
